Identify the filter model
The label on the filter tank is the best starting point. Record the manufacturer and complete model number, then check its manual for the replacement cartridge reference.
Measure the existing cartridge
Compare the overall length, outside diameter and the openings at both ends. Note whether each end is open, closed, threaded or fitted with a handle. Dimensions alone do not establish compatibility.
Check the full cartridge set
Some filters use one cartridge; others use several. Verify the number of cartridges, the individual cartridge part number and the required total filtering area in the manufacturer’s documentation.
Distinguish cleaning from replacement
Inspect the pleats, bands and end caps. Follow the manufacturer’s cleaning procedure and pressure guidance. Damaged media or end caps can require replacement even when the filter has recently been cleaned.
Find candidates in the catalog
Browse Filters & Cartridges, choose the brand and search the exact cartridge or filter model number. Confirm the specifications before adding the item to your selection.
